The Smoke is a five-piece from Melbourne that plays 60s rock n’ roll like a punk band — or vice
versa.
The band formed in 2008 and began writing songs and recording them in their living room. These recordings would become their debut album Blood Orange, released through MGM the following year.
A follow-up EP, Cut Like A Crystal, was released in 2010.
